Hi book folks!
It’s been a really fun and at times frantic launch week. The outpouring of support truly meant the world to me and made for a memorable experience.
A couple of exciting firsts, too! “Secret Lives of Mothers & Daughters” is featured in this month’s issue of Canadian Living magazine. A good friend of mine let me know when she stumbled upon it, which happened on launch day. I literally ran to the store in my sweatpants to get multiple copies. You’ve heard of bookface? Well, this is my version of magface, LOL!
And yesterday, another unexpected surprise. Secret Lives was featured as part of CBC All In A Day’s February book panel! I was cooking dinner at the time when I got pinged on Twitter. I rushed to the radio and at that very moment they were discussing the book. I still can’t believe it. Here’s the segment in case you want to have a listen. They chat about Secret Lives at the end.
I also found out some exciting book festival news. Stay tuned for more about that!
