Don’t know what Authors for Indies Day is?
Well, I can’t put it better than this:
“On Authors for Indies Day, Canadian authors show our appreciation for independent bookstores (indies) by volunteering as guest booksellers […] We’ll be chatting with customers, recommending books, and helping everyone appreciate the importance of indie bookstores to our communities and our cultural lives. It’s not about promoting ourselves, it’s about raising awareness of Canada’s independent bookstores.”

What a fun experience! I think it would be so neat if every author did this, once in awhile! Indie Authors are amazing and we need to keep the support high and consistant to bring awareness to the readers out of the world! Some of my favorite books were written by an indie author! Have a terrific time doing this and I hope people will have an opportunity to purchase your books while they are out shopping!!!!
