Chapter 3, The Escape Artist

I hope September is treating you well, so far. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a new audio excerpt of “The Escape Artist,” so here is Chapter 3 if you fancy a listen. This is the chapter I’ve been reading at events and it seems to be well-received, in part I think, because it sets up the conflict of the story well.

Speaking of readings, I’ve included the details of an upcoming poetry and prose afternoon to be held at Pressed on Gladstone at 3 PM. They serve a great waffle brunch from 11 to 2-ish on Sundays, in case you want to stop by early and breakfast with some friendly Quattro folks. I can taste the waffles already!
