Hello hello and Happy New Year!

To kick things off, I’m thrilled to introduce you to a regular feature we’re calling “Whatcha Reading” with Kendra the Bookworm. πŸ“–πŸ› Not only is she one of the loveliest humans on the planet, but she’s also a voracious reader and bookstagrammer!

To help get your reading year off to a great start, here are some of Kendra’s favourite recent reads to add to your TBR. I hope you enjoy!

Here’s to a bright and bookish 2023!!

Hi friends! Can’t wait to share with you my top three reads of 2022! As a multi-genre book lover, I was so impressed with some of the books I read this past year. Trust me when I say that it was really hard to narrow down just three, but let’s get right to it!

“These Silent Woods” by Kimi Cunningham Grant was one that sat with me for weeks after I read it. A father and his young daughter are living off grid in a cabin deep within the Appalachian woods. Their only connection to the outside world is a distant neighbor and an old friend who brings them supplies once a year. This book is a page turner in every sense of the word.Β

“Malibu Rising” by Taylor Jenkins Reid is a multi-generational family story that mostly takes place in Malibu, California during early 1980’s with flashbacks to the past. An annual end of summer party reveals secrets and truths to four siblings that will change this family forever.Β

“Once Upon a Wardrobe” by Patti Callahan is a magical tale of a young boy who wants to know where the idea of Narnia came from. His sister, Meg, is able to meet the famous C.S. Lewis and makes every attempt to grant her brother his last wish.

Can’t wait to share what I’ll be reading in the New Year and I would love to connect with you on Instagram @KendratheBookworm. XOΒ
